Integrated tools for 'Omics' Sciences

The advent of 'omics' sciences has revolutionised the approach to biology and to the study of diseases. The availability of "high throughput" tools and technologies have made it possible to collect huge amounts of raw data. It is fundamental to analyze this information to extract knowledge on the processes and interactions between the various molecules, determining the behaviour observed on various scales. The existing solutions have the limit of not having been developed to be integrated with existing types of analysis, in order to gain an overview of biological phenomena. That is why there is a need to develop methodologies and hardware and software tools for the analysis of such huge masses of data and information, its safe storage and management.
