The Bioinformatics interdepartmental project of the CNR is as a support for the Departments involved, in order to develop synergies. Furthermore, the primary purpose of this project is to develop innovative solutions to satisfy the thematic priorities.

This is a part of Bioinformatics dedicated to the development of new methodologies and new projects of particular commitment to the biomedical analysis that require considerable expertise in the use of programs and databases for Bioinformatics analysis.

These types usually require specific skills and a very accurate planning of man-time devote, in some cases difficult to quantify. Therefore, Bioinformatics draft must be flexible and collect from various Institutes and Departmental Projects new project proposals, in order to better respond to emerging needs as a whole.

Currently it has been put forward proposals for signers of the following departments:

• Medicine Department
• Agrofood Department
• Life Science Department
• Materials and Devices Department
• Molecular Design Department
